Change Quick Access Default Application Icons on Samsung Galaxy S2

If you ever wanted to change the quick access default application icons on Samsung Galaxy S2 you can do this by going to applications screen. For example as seen in the following image we have Phone, Contacts, Messaging and Applications as the default set of icons.

To change this first go to the applications page by touching Applications.

Then touch the menu button on the phone to activate the menu and select Edit. This will take you to edit screen view. Now it is simple as dragging the application icon you want on your quick access to the icon you need to be replaced.

When you are satisfied, touch on the back button to save the changes. If you need to ignore the changes press the middle button.

As seen in the following images I have replaced the Contacts with Play Movies. Also if you want you keep only 3 or less icons in quick access you can achieve this by deleting unwanted icons using the edit view.

Saving Table Changes in SQL Server 2008 R2

Have you noticed that with the default settings of SQL Server 2008 R2 you cannot use the design view to edit and save table changes which requires table to be recreated. But if you used earlier SQL Server installations you should remember that this functionality was possible. When you try to save such a table you will see an error similar to the following in SQL Server 2008 R2.

But the good news is that we can enable this functionality by going to SQL Server options.

Click Tools –> Options and expand Designers node and select ‘Table and Database Designers’.

Then uncheck the option ‘Prevent saving changes that require table re-creation’ and press OK.

Now if you try to save the table changes SQL will do the alteration without any complains.

Changing the Default Welcome Page of a Site

Do you know that we can change the default page of a site in SharePoint?

This is done by going to "Site Settings" and accessing the "Welcome page" option under "Look and Feel" category.

• If you cannot find a link named "Welcome page" that means you don't have Office SharePoint Server Publishing enabled on your site. If you need more help on how to enable Office SharePoint Server Publishing please feel free to read my next post.

Now browse or type the page that you want to set as the welcome page and click Ok.
